Development of national standards and curriculum for general education including technical assistance (TA) and training. TA is asked for assisting with the institutional strengthening and capacity building at the Curriculum Center (CC) so as to provide for complete and effective functioning of the Curriculum Center and to develop a master work plan for curriculum reform and development
Major features of TA for curriculum reform and development are:
- developing education standards;
- conceptualisation and development of a national curriculum framework;
- implementation of outcome-oriented and student-centred learning;
- developing integrated curricula in science and social science.
